North Bend recognizes outgoing City Councilmen

At its final meeting of 2016, the North Bend City Council recognized two of its members who were serving the last meeting of their terms. Council members Dee Williamson, Position 3, and David Cook, Position 5, were applauded for their service to the city. Both councilmen were defeated in their re-election bids in November.

A third councilman completing his term with the city is Ryan Kolodejchuk, Position 7, who was absent from the meeting. Kolodejchuk was defeated in the August primary.

At the city’s first meeting of 2016, Jan. 5, the newly elected council members will take their oaths of office. The new slate of council members will include Trevor Kostanich, Position 3, Brenden Elwood, Position 5 and Martin Volken, Position 7, all elected in November, plus Jonathan Rosen, re-elected to Position 1 in November, Alan Gothelf, Position 2,  Ross Loudenback, Position 4 and Jeanne Pettersen, Position 6.
