North Bend Parks Commission has opening

The city of North Bend has a vacancy on the Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Commission, and is now taking applications to fill the seat. Position 4 on the commission has a term expiring Dec. 31 of this year.

The city of North Bend has a vacancy on the Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Commission, and is now taking applications to fill the seat. Position 4 on the commission has a term expiring Dec. 31 of this year.

The Parks Commission is a six-member board, each member serving a four-year term. One youth position, with a one-year term is also on the commission. The group is an advisory body providing guidance and direction in meeting the parks, recreational, and beautification needs of the city. Meetings are typically once every other month, on a Wednesday evening.
