North Bend council approves $5 million fire station bond for February ballot

North Bend’s share of the project cost will be about 43 percent, if the bond is approved by voters. The cost impact to North Bend property owners will be about 19 cents per $1,000 of valuation, or about $76 a year in increased taxes on a $400,000 home.
