North Bend artist to host “Real Twin Peaks” gallery show

North Bend artist Britt Greenland will host two new shows at her downtown gallery over the next two months.

“The REAL Twin Peaks” show will celebrate all things North Bend, beginning with an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. The show will feature over a dozen new paintings of North Bend scenes including Twede’s Cafe, the North Bend Theater, Snoqualmie Falls and more.

One of those paintings on display – a 12 by 24 inch oil painting of the Mill Pond – will be sold at a Trail Youth Coffee fundraiser on April 22. “The REAL Twin Peak”show will run until May 11.

Beginning on Saturday, May 14, Greenland will open the “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” show, with a reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show will feature original works submitted by artists from across the region.

Those paintings will be judged by local artist Jim Lamb, who will award a first, second and third place prize at the opening reception. Artists can submit work until April 20 at: bit.ly/38h0r5O.
