Nine Scouts receive Arrow of Light awards
Nine out of 37 members of local Cub Scouts Troop 700 received the Arrow of Light award on Thursday, Jan. 26, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North Bend. This is an optional award in Scouting and is the Cub Scout's highest award signifying that each recipient is ready to become a Boy Scout. Participants are eligible after they earn their Webelos badge. It is the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn on a Boy Scout's uniform.
Pictured are, back row, left to right: Rhett Haney, leader Nanette Haney and Tyler McCreadie.
