A 20-year-old man who was reported missing near North Bend earlier this month has been found dead, the Snoqualmie Police announced in a statement Wednesday.
Mohamed Ibrahim was reported missing to the Bellevue Police Department on Aug. 15, after failing to return from a meeting at Bellevue College. It was later determined he had attended the meeting virtually while hiking in the Little Si area of North Bend.
After a multi-agency search, including the use of helicopters, search and rescue crews located Ibrahim’s body on Aug. 29, police said. Seattle Mountain Rescue assisted the King County Sheriff’s Office in the rescue attempt.
Police said an investigation has been launched, but no foul play is not suspected.
