Guess Who: At 12:42 p.m., an officer observed a grey Mercedes with a missing driver’s side headlight, and stopped the vehicle. The passenger handed over her driver’s license, but the driver said his license was suspended and  did not provide ID. The officer recognized the man from an October, 2010, incident, and remembered that he’d lied about his name then. A records check of the false name cross-referenced to an alias with a warrant the officer had issued last October. The man was arrested for driving with a suspended license and providing false information to police.

Loud Party: At 2:23 a.m., officers visited a home on Peggy’s Place in response to a complaint of a loud party. The officers contacted the homeowner, who agreed to turn down the music and bring her guests inside.

Too Fast: At 4:02 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle in the 6700 block of Douglas Avenue, going approximately 35 miles per hour in a 25-mph zone. The officer stopped the driver, who had a warrant from Kirkland. Police transferred the driver into the custody of Kirkland Police, and completed the impound of the man’s vehicle, registered to an Oregon rental company.
