The Northwest Railway Museum and the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum are getting money from 4Culture, King County’s cultural services agency, for their projects.

About $52,000 was given this year to 18 recipients. The Northwest Railway Museum will hire a noted historic rail car expert to produce an assessment and report for chapel car 5, better known as “Messenger of Peace.”

Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum will fulfill their “Let’s Do It Right!” plan to acquire a general conservation assessment of the Museum and collections to help determine collections care goals for the future.

4Culture works to integrate arts, heritage and preservation.
