Kids on a mission

Janna Rixon and Abbie Uhles weed flower beds at Riverview Park in Snoqualmie last week. The two were part of a group of 52 kids from Valley Christian Assembly that decided to do this summer's mission in their own community. In addition to the park cleanup, the group worked at a local food bank, performed roadside cleanup and worked at an assisted living facility.
