Rotary makes Olympians’ lunch

The Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley provided 350 lunches for participants at the KIng County regional finals of the Special Olympics, held Saturday, Feb. 7, at Snoqualmie Pass.

Rotarian Ed Cassidy, a manager at Puget Sound Energy’s facility on Snoqualmie Ridge, allowed Rotary and Puget Sound Energy volunteers to make use of part of the PSE facility to prepare the meals. Rotarians then delivered the lunches to the pass to feed the hungry participants.
