Little Si Trail work set for Earth Day

Volunteers helped spruce up a local part of the planet for Earth Day, by joining the Mountains to Sound Greenway in projects taking care of the Little Si Trail in North Bend.

Trail maintenance projects were held Saturday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 22. Volunteers also helped maintain Tiger Mountain and Emily Darst Park in Issaquah.

On April 22, a group of volunteers from the Issaquah REI store helped maintain the Little Si Trail. A group of volunteers from Boeing worked at Tiger Mountain on April 19.

The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust is a nonprofit conservation organization established in 1991 to protect the Interstate 90 corridor between Seattle and Central Washington. The Greenway Trust works to promote public land acquisitions, connect a continuous regional trail system, create new parks and trails and mobilize thousands of volunteers.
