Valley residents can now explore volunteer opportunities with the Medical Reserve Corps.

Prospective volunteers can include practicing, retired, or otherwise employed medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, pharmacists, nurses’ assistants, and others. Tribal and community members and employees without medical training can assist with administrative and other essential support functions.

Karate classes starting at Twin Falls MS

The Umibushi Self-Defense Academy will be starting a new AAU Karate Club at Twin Falls Middle School in North Bend.

Low-cost karate classes (for ages 7 to adult) will be held every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m., year-round, starting Friday, March 20.
