Valley health fair set at Si View

Valley residents can learn about everything from MRIs to belly dancing at the first-ever Snoqualmie Valley Health Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16 at Si View Park.

The health fair was organized to help people find out about the health resources of the Valley. Participants can have fun trying out exercise classes with friends. Children are welcome, and can check out Si View camps or spend time with a babysitter while parents learn about programs.

Guest speakers will talk about healthy nutrition, stress reduction, healthy aging and other important health topics. The fair, a collaborative effort by a group of area organizations and businesses, is being made possible with a $2,500 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
