Gateway Gas offers Flex Fuel

Gateway Gas offers Flex Fuel

Gateway Gas and Deli owners Brad and Jennifer Oberlander are doing their part to go green.

Their Snoqualmie station is the only facility in King County to carry E-85 Flex Fuel, which is 84 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline.

E-85 burns cleaner than regular gasoline. Ethanol degrades quickly and poses less risk to the environment. It is also cheaper per gallon than gas — but in general, only newer cars can use Flex Fuel.

Gateway Gas and Deli has been open for one year. Offering gas, a convenience store and a full deli, the station is located at 8030 Douglas Ave. S.E.

New chiropractic clinic to open

The new Snoqualmie Ridge Chiropractic Clinic is scheduled to open this week at the Gateway Center, next to Gateway Gas and Deli off Douglas Avenue and Snoqualmie Parkway.

“It will offer a complete approach to healing,” said Dr. Ken Lichtenwalter, CEO of Your Neighborhood Healthcare Center LLP and co-owner of the clinic.

“Our focus is on total, integrated care for the family.”

Dr. Ben Britton and Dr. Steve Gootkind join Dr. Lichtenwalter, and together will offer a wide range of techniques and therapies to meet the individual needs of patients.

Also on the staff of Snoqualmie Ridge Chiropractic is licensed massage therapist Julie Ann Johnson, who will be offering massage therapy on site in the state-of-the-art facility.

The clinic will be open Monday through Saturday. For more information, call (425) 396-5570.
