Chamber hosts green speaker

Going “lean and green” is the topic of Puget Sound Energy speaker Andy Wappler, who will give a talk at the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 11:30 a.m. luncheon meeting, Friday, Jan. 16 at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC.

Wappler is PSE’s public spokesperson on renewable energy and energy efficiency to meet the challenges of climate change. He is certified by the American Meteorological Society, and is a graduate of both University of Washington and Northwestern University.

Wappler will talk with chamber members about ways to work together to save today’s energy for tomorrow’s needs. He will introduce ways to help meet the challenge of climate change, reduce costs and be environmentally responsible.

Upcoming chamber events include a noon ribbon cutting planned for Saturday, Jan. 24 at Finaghty’s Irish Pub, 7726 Center Blvd. S.E., suite 110 on Snoqualmie Ridge, as they expand into the former Nick & Willy’s Pizza space.

A chamber After Hours event is planned for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan, 29 at the Fall City Roadhouse and Fall City Inn, 4200 Preston-Fall City Rd. S.E., the former Colonial Inn.
