The book is a historical fiction novel that takes place in the world of Cessarina Iacovino, a young Italian girl living at the turn of the 20th century and fighting a family curse.

Fraser has lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for more than six years with her husband, three children, and two dogs. Originally from the Midwest, she enjoys hiking and camping with her vintage 1964 travel trailer. This is her first novel. She blogs daily at tonyajermannfraser.wordpress.com.
