Haitian art show, benefit at Isadora’s Cafe in Snoqualmie

Art lovers can promote redevelopment in Haiti by supporting Haitian artists and craftspersons at an Arts and Crafts Display and Sale, Friday, Aug. 20, through Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Isadora’s Cafe in Snoqualmie.

A tradition of colorful arts has flourished throughout Haiti’s history. This event will feature cut metal sculptures from flattened oil barrels, paintings and carved river stones.

The sale and display is sponsored by Snoqualmie United Methodist Church with help from Ten Thousand Villages in Seattle. All profits will go to the Haitian artist and earthquake relief.

Isadora’s Cafe is located at 8062 Railroad Ave. S.E. and is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, with extended evening hours on Tuesday.
