Local students were among the more than 750 undergraduate and graduate-level students who received diplomas in commencement ceremonies at George Fox University in Newberg, Ore., this spring.

Molly Hearn of Fall City received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She also was named to the college’s dean’s list, earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

G. Griffith, of North Bend received a doctorate’s degree.

In addition to Hearn, Carnation resident Camilla Carpenter, a freshman studying elementary education, was named to the George Fox dean’s list.
