Free private well-owner webinars to be offered in October

A series of free, one-hour webinars for household water well owners will be held in October on the subjects of addressing iron and manganese, fluoride, and water treatment system maintenance by the National Ground Water Association (NGWA).

A series of free, one-hour webinars for household water well owners will be held in October on the subjects of addressing iron and manganese, fluoride, and water treatment system maintenance by the National Ground Water Association (NGWA).

Well owners can register at http://www.wellowner.org/well-owner-webinars.

Sessions include:

• 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, Removing iron and manganese to improve water quality in residential wells;

• 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, Removing problematic fluoride from residential water wells;

• 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, Water treatment system maintenance basics.
