Flute circle gets name, site

The Native American flute circle that recently started up in the valley now has a name: River Song.

Circle participants voted on the name at their Sept. 17 meeting.

The circle has now identified a permanent gathering place. Monthly gatherings will be held on the third Thursday of each month in the multipurpose room at Carnation Elementary School, 4950 Tolt Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the circle begins at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. The next circle is scheduled for Oct. 15.
