Firefighters from Station 85 in Carnation have done weekly spray downs from their fire engine, to help Camp Korey campers stay cool in hot weather. On Thursday Aug. 11, they did their final “Summer Spray Down.”

Firefighters jumped in the action, literally, with the kids, as they said goodbye to the camp that has been part of the Carnation community over the last 11 years.

Camp Korey will be moving to a new location in Mount Vernon in September.

The organization empowers children and families living with serious medical conditions through year-round, life-changing experiences, free of charge. Camp Korey is accessible and adaptable for all.
