Feb. 26 is final day for free flood disposal

Thursday, Feb. 26, is the final day for residents to dispose of their flood debris at no cost at any King County solid waste transfer station.

Vouchers are available contacting the King County Solid Waste Division at (206) 296-4466, 1-800-325-6165, ext 6-4466, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Individuals who take flood debris to solid waste transfer stations without a voucher will be charged regular fees.

The Cedar Falls Drop Box in North Bend has a maximum load limit of three cubic yards or one ton.
