Fall City’s secrets of the stones

Researcher taking a closer look at local gravestones

Every grave has its story. And Gwynneth Anderson is out to prove it.

Armed with photos and stories she’s collected from historical gravesites, Anderson will present “Stones and Bones: Discovering Secrets in King County’s Old Cemeteries” from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Fall City Methodist Church, at the invitation of Ruth Pickering, president of Fall City Historical Society. The society’s annual meeting will take place from 2 to 3 p.m., prior to the presentation and is open to the public.

Anderson will offer guests a close-up look at historical King County cemeteries, including Fall City Cemetery, Woodinville Memorial Mead Cemetery, Lakeview Cemetery, Crown Hill Ceme
