Fall City Fire District seeks volunteers

The Fall City fire department is looking for energetic, community-minded citizens willing to assist with emergency services. Benefits of volunteering include firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician training, participating with technical rescue teams, community involvement, monetary rewards and steps to career opportunities.

The minimum age to apply is 18. Applicants must have a high school diploma, good driving record, be capable of the physical demands, and the time to commit to training. The testing process includes a written and physical agility test. The initial fire training commitment is 12 to 14 weeks, up to eight hours on Saturdays and up to three hours on Thursday evenings.
