Washington Women’s Foundation has awarded Encompass a $100,000 grant to fund the Encompass Mobile Therapy Unit. This mobile unit will allow Encompass to provide life changing therapies for children and families in rural areas, homeless shelters, transitional housing facilities, schools and throughout the community.
The award is one of the foundation’s five pooled fund grants awards to nonprofit organizations.
Encompass will purchase a van that will be retrofitted to contain a therapy lab including a play area, a one-way mirror and the sound and video equipment needed for therapy programs. The lab will offer therapies such as; mental health therapy, speech therapy and parent coaching.
