Eighth grade students named to honor roll at Snoqualmie Middle School

Eighth grade students moved on from middle school to high school with a celebration held Wednesday, June 18.

Eighth grade students moved on from middle school to high school with a celebration held Wednesday, June 18.

The school celebrated the end of students’ middle school years, as well as a few exemplary achievements.

One of the awards given out was the 2008 President’s Education Award. This award is given to all students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for all trimesters of their middle school career.

The following students will receive recognition for achieving a 3.5-plus GPA for all trimesters of their middle school career: Jessica Adams, Eden Altwies, Brooke Bonner, Alison Channita, Brian Copeland, Matt Eichler, Trevor Lane, Edward Larson, Megan Machholz, Megan McCulley, Joshua Mitchell, Marissa Monahan, Alex Pease, Matthew Petroske, Joshua Piper, Tyler Piper, Bobby Rollins, Annalise Sansburn, Summer Smith, Josh Supkoff, Sarah Tracy, Chantelle Troutman-Watson, Megan Wachtendonk, and Ben Wheeler.

Also achieving recognition were several students who have achieved a 3.8 or better grade point average for all trimesters of their middle school career. Those students included: Shannon Barnhart, Katy Crowley, Trina Eck, Landon Edwards, Riley Edwards, Reece Karalus, Carmen Kroschel, Erik Meister, Ryan Paauw, Jordan Riley and Kyle Seymour.
