EFR Firefighter scholarships for CHS’ Hueter, Mt. Si’s Alison Channita

The International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2878 represents firefighters and staff of Eastside Fire & Rescue, Duvall Fire District 45, Fall City Fire District 27 and the City of Snoqualmie fire departments. In 1999, the group established a scholarship program as a way to encourage and reward local high school seniors. The scholarship program is funded by the employees of IAFF Local 2878 and is awarded to a high school senior from one of the six public high schools in its service area.

This year’s Valley recipients are Alexander Hueter of Cedarcrest High School and Alison Channita of Mount Si High School.
