Valley parents can learn about the Encompass Childcare Co-op at a free dinner social, 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at the Encompass Main Campus, 1407 Boalch Ave. N.W., North Bend.

In the co-op program, each Saturday, parents can take turns with other families to join Encompass staff in providing four hours of child care. Each weekend session includes family-style meals for children 18 months to 10 years old, in one of the colorful classrooms at the Encompass Main Campus.

For each session parents attend as a volunteer, they earn two drop-offs for their children. If both spouses volunteer for a session, they earn four session drop-offs.
