Deadline extended for city’s vacant arts job

The city of Snoqualmie’s Arts Commission has an opening for one new member. Mayor Matt Larson is considering applications for appointment and confirmation by the City Council. The deadline to apply has been extended to August 4. To be considered, the new member must reside within the corporate limits of the city of Snoqualmie.

The deadline to apply has been extended to August 4. To be considered, the new member must reside within the corporate limits of the city of Snoqualmie.

The Arts Commission advises the City Council on public artwork, and promotes and encourages public programs to further interest in the fine and performing arts as well as preservation of Snoqualmie’s cultural heritage.

The commission meets once each month on the second Monday at 5:30 p.m. All meetings are at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 S.E. River Street.
