Cyclist hit by school bus along North Bend Way

A section of North Bend Way was shut down in both directions Tuesday morning, Oct. 26, after a school bus struck a cyclist.

The cyclist, an adult male, was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life threatening injuries, according to Eastside Fire & Rescue. The Snoqualmie Valley School District said no students were on the bus during the accident.

North Bend Way is currently closed between Meadowbrook Way and Stone Quarry Road, and is expected to remain closed while the investigation continues. Snoqualmie Police are asking residents to use alternative routes. The Snoqualmie Police and Washington State Patrol remain on the scene.
