Crossing arm glitch delays Snoqualmie traffic at Parkway

A half-hour long glitch in the railroad crossing arms at Snoqualmie Parkway briefly goofed up traffic through Snoqualmie. The arms apparently malfunctioned, opening and closing several times before getting stuck in the closed (down) position, starting around 8:15 a.m. Staff from the Northwest Railway Museum were called to make the repairs while the Snoqualmie Police Department provided traffic control.

A half-hour long glitch in the railroad crossing arms at Snoqualmie Parkway briefly goofed up traffic through Snoqualmie.

Around 8:45 Monday morning, April 11, the railroad crossing arms at Snoqualmie Parkway were restored to their upright positions, allowing traffic to flow normally again.

The arms apparently malfunctioned, opening and closing several times before getting stuck in the closed (down) position, starting around 8:15 a.m. Staff from the Northwest Railway Museum were called to make the repairs while the Snoqualmie Police Department provided traffic control.
