King County is taking public comment on several new homes to be built off Tokul Road outside Snoqualmie.

King County is taking public comment on several new homes to be built off Tokul Road outside Snoqualmie.

Amit Burach of Plano, Texas, plans to subdivide 38 acres at the northeast corner of Tokul Road Southeast and Southeast 53rd Way, into four lots for single-family residences. Lots range in size from one to 2.7 acres. A large part of the acreage is being placed into a critical area. Access will be from Southeast 53rd Street.

The land is currently zoned to allow five or ten homes per acre.

A public comment period ends on Friday, April 18.

The county sent out notice of the application to neighbors within 500 feet as well as the Valley Record.

Baruch’s proposal will be reviewed for compliance with all applicable county codes, including critical areas, roads and surface water standards.

A public hearing is not required for the application. Written comments can be sent to the King County Department of Development and Environmental Services, Land Use Services Division, 900 Oakesdale Avenue Southwest, Renton, WA 98057-5212.
