Umpqua Bank in North Bend will host a “Chat and Chew” on affordable housing, noon to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the bank’s community room.

This event is for those interested in knowing more about why affordable housing is so important, and how the Valley can help its nearly 4,000 employees who work here but can’t afford to live here.
