Tuesday, Dec. 20

Truck crash: At 8:08 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to a vehicle accident in the 31400 block of Redmond-Fall City Road. A pickup truck and dump truck collided, injuring one patient. Another person at the scene refused treatment.The injured patient was taken to a local hospital.

Tree down: At 9:38 a.m., the Washington State Patrol asked the department to assist with a tree that had fallen into power lines.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

Blurry vision: At 6:59 p.m., firefighters responded with units from Eastside Fire and Rescue, and medics from the Bellevue Fire Department, to assist a man in his 80s who was experiencing blurry vision. He was taken by medics to a local hospital for treatment.

Friday, Dec. 23

Overheating furnace: at 6:30 a.m, firefighters were called to a home for a report of an oil furnace that was overheating. The furnace had recently been serviced by a technician, residents said, and it had produced smoke and an unusual amount of heat when they started it. Firefighters shut down the furnace and advised the homeowner to call the service company back to check it out.

Dizziness: At 5:24 p.m., Fall City EMTs were called to assist a 73-year-old female patient who was experiencing dizziness and vertigo. The patient was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Saturday Dec. 24

Roll-over: At 10:19 a.m, Fall City, Snoqualmie, and Eastside Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to a rollover motor vehicle accident on eastbound Interstate 90 near Exit 38. One patient was treated and taken to a local hospital via the Fall City aid car.

Campfire: At 11:27 p.m., the department heard from a resident of the Riverview neighborhood about smoke in the area. They responded and found that another resident of the neighborhood was burning a legal campfire to celebrate Christmas Eve.

Sunday, Dec. 25

Truck in ditch: At 7:44 p.m., firefighters were called to the Preston area to assist a man who had accidentally driven his truck into a ditch. The man was disoriented and lost; he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Monday, Dec. 26

Abdominal pain: At 3:43 p.m., Fall City EMT’s were called to assist a 50-year-old woman who was experiencing abdominal pain. The patient was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Intoxication: At 1:26 p.m., Fall City EMT’s were called to a private home, where a 52-year-old woman was reported to be intoxicated, with a decreased level of consciousness. The patient was roused and evaluated. She stated that she wanted help with alcohol dependency but refused further treatment. The patient was given information about how to obtain help, and was left in the care of friends.
