Saturday, March 26

Theft: At 12:58 p.m., police received a call about a suspected shoplifter on the 400 block of S.W. Mount Si Boulevard, North Bend, but the subject was gone when police arrived. His car was in the parking lot with six items inside.

Trespassing: At 8:05 a.m., police were called to the 30000 block of S.E. Park Street for a report of trespassing. The nephew of the property owner was sleeping in the shed outside the front door. Police took the nephew into custody and booked him on two charges of criminal trespassing.

Traffic: At 6:20 p.m., police received a report of a driver in a white truck throwing a bottle of fluid at the reporting party’s car on Meadowbrook Way S.E. and Railroad Avenue S.E., Snoqualmie. Police instructed the driver to make better choices.

Suspicious: At 5:01 a.m., police received a call from a resident on S.W. 10th Street, North Bend, reporting she believed someone was in her car due to a light being on in the vehicle. Police checked, but found no broken windows or doors left open.

Vehicle prowl: At 11:15 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle prowl on the 6000 block of Railroad Avenue S.E., Snoqualmie. There was no damage to the car and no information on the subject.

Wednesday, March 30

Suspicious: At 9:38 p.m., an officer was contacted by a gas attendant who was concerned about someone dumping paint cans in the trash a couple day earlier.

Thursday, March 31

Hazardous roadway: At 10:03 p.m., Police got a call of a vehicle that dropped the items it was carrying onto Snoqualmie Parkway and Douglas Avenue, Snoqualmie. The driver was cited for an unsecured load and the items were removed from the road.

Friday, April 1

Suspicious: At 12:08 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle going 69 miles-per-hour on North Bend Way, North Bend. When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, the subject accelerated quickly, turned off its lights and drove into downtown North Bend. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

Citizen assist: At 8:36 a.m., police were called about people speeding in the school zone on S.E. Douglas Street, Snoqualmie, between 8 and 8:30 a.m. every morning. Officers were told to increase traffic patrol when they could and a speed trailer was requested.

E-cigarette smoke: At 11:54 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire alarm in a commercial building on Redmond-Fall City Road S.E. in downtown Fall City. They determined that the alarm had been activated by the vapor from an electronic cigarette. They reset the alarm.

Sunday, April 3

Seizure: At 9:26 a.m., both the Fall City and Snoqualmie departments responded to the Snoqualmie River’s Lower Powerhouse trail, where a 17-year-old patient had fainted and had a seizure. The patient was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Monday, April 4

Intoxicated: At 12:05 p.m., firefighters were called to evaluate an intoxicated 66-year-old woman who was in custody of King County Sheriff’s Deputies. They examined the woman and left her with the officers.

Faulty lines: At 4:04 p.m., firefighters responded to the 32500 block of S.E. 68th Street for a report of power lines that were arcing and flaming. They controlled the scene until technicians from Puget Sound Energy arrived to repair the lines.

Tuesday, April 5

Crash: At 1:14 p.m., firefighters from Fall City and Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 90 near Highway 18. One vehicle struck another which was stalled in a lane of travel. One driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a fractured wrist and other minor injuries. The other driver was evaluated for concussion symptoms while in the custody of the Washington State Patrol.

Friday, April 1

Illegal burn: At 2 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters took a report of an illegal burn from a school bus driver. The driver reported thick black smoke coming from Center Street. The crew located the source of the smoke on 404th Avenue S.E., where a house was under renovation and two large piles of material were burning in the yard. The workers at the house claimed the piles were burning tree branches, but firefighters determined there were roofing shingles and tar paper in the piles. They told the workers the fires were illegal and remained on scene until the men had put both fires out.

Saturday, April 2

Alarm: At 1:29 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to a carbon monoxide alarm sounding on S.E. Odell Street. They contacted the homeowner, who said his child had pressed the test button on the alarm.

Medical aid: In addition, Snoqualmie EMTs responded to 13 medical aid incidents, bringing the total number of incidents to date to 269.
