Thursday, June 30

Carbon Monoxide: At 7:26 p.m., firefighters from Fall City and Snoqualmie responded to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for a report of carbon monoxide alarms going off. They searched the hospital for the source of the gas and used gas detectors to ensure the building was safe for human habitation. The building was ventilated and the alarms were reset after the gas levels were checked once again.

Friday, July 1

Brush fire: At 7:09 p.m., the department was called to the 7800 block of Lake Alice Road S.E. for a report of a brush fire that was likely caused by fireworks. Firefighters found a 10-foot by 20-foot burned area, but the fire had burned out prior to their arrival. They also found spent fireworks and heard from neighbors that three teenage boys had been in the area. They notified the King County Sheriff and advised neighbors to watch out for additional smoke or fire due to the approaching holiday.

Marijuana: At 10:50 p.m., Fall City firefighters were called to a private home, where a 16-year-old girl who’d consumed food laced with cannabis was experiencing anxiety. The girl and her mother decided to wait and watch for the drug’s effects to wear off.

Saturday, July 2

Back pain: 9:47 a.m., firefighters assisted a 79-year-old man who was experiencing back and sciatica pain from a previous injury. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Monday, July 4

Intoxicated: At 2:50 p.m., the King County Sheriff asked for firefighters to attend a patient at a traffic stop in the 4500 block of 332nd Avenue S.E. The patient, a man in his 60s, was believed to be experiencing symptoms of diabetes. Firefighters evaluated the man and determined he was probably intoxicated. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Allergy: At 8:03 p.m., a 26-year-old woman walked into the fire station experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction. Firefighters evaluated her but she declined further treatment. She was advised to call 911 if symptoms worsened.

Tuesday, July 5

Chest pain: At 3:11 p.m., firefighters assisted a 62-year-old woman who was experiencing chest pain. Medics from the Bellevue Fire Department also saw the woman, and she was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Faint: At 11:14 p.m., Fall City firefighters saw a 52-year-old woman who had become weak and fainted. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Wednesday, July 6

Head injury: At 1:13 p.m., Fall City firefighters assisted an 8-year-old boy who’d been hit on the head with a rock. They took the child to to a local hospital for treatment.
