Saturday, June 18

Suspicious circumstances: At 8:42 p.m., police were called to N.E. 6th Street and Pickett Avenue N.E. in North Bend to address reports of a homeless camp. Police found a tent but the occupant was on a cross-state biking trip and had stopped there for the night. He told officers he would leave the next day.

Sunday, June 19

Noise complaint: At 3:43 a.m., police received a noise complaint from S.E. Swenson Street, Snoqualmie. The caller said their neighbors were having a party with loud music. Police arrived and told the neighbors to turn down the music.

Suspicious: At 7:41 p.m., police were called to check out two groups of suspicious people in a parking lot of the 300 block of Main Avenue South in North Bend. Police located the groups but did not observe any suspicious activity.

Monday, June 20

Weapons offense: At 11:14 p.m., police received a report of gunshots and a driver hitting three medians and buses on the 700 block of S.W. Mount Si Boulevard, North Bend. Police found the vehicle but could not find the driver and there was no evidence of gun fire.

The officers concluded that the gunshot sounds were likely from the tires popping as they hit the curb.

Malicious mischief: At 3:57 p.m., police received a call reporting a car had been keyed on East 3rd Street in North Bend. The caller was advised to call back the next day when police could access security recordings.

Thursday, June 23

Car fire: At 5 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to Upper-Preston Rd. S.E. for a reported vehicle fire. They found a 2016 Kia fully involved in a fire; the car had been reported stolen. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and left the scene to King County Sheriff’s deputies.

Friday, June 24

Motor home crash: At 2:31 p.m., Fall City firefighters responded to milepost 40 on Interstate 90 to provide medical aid after a motor home and minivan collided. They transported one patient to a local hospital in the Fall City aid car.

Saturday, June 25

Intoxicated juvenile: At 1:11 a.m., the department was called to assist sheriff’s deputies with an intoxicated 17-year-old boy behaving erratically. The boy was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.

Vertigo: At 8:11 p.m., firefighters responded to a downtown residence to assist an 84-year-old woman experiencing vertigo. They stabilized her and at her request, left her at home in the care of her family.

Crash: At 9:19 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to the 6500 block of Preston-Fall City Road S.E. where a truck collided head-on with a dump truck. One man had been ejected from his vehicle in the collision and was pinned underneath his truck. Firefighters extricated the man and paramedics transported him to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Stroke: At 8:45 p.m., the department responded to Preston-Fall City Rd S.E. to help a 68-year-old woman experiencing stroke symptoms. She was stabilized at the scene and transported to an area hospital for further treatment.

Fall: At 2:33 a.m., Fall City firefighters responded to S.E. Redmond-Fall City Road to assist a 54-year-old man who had fallen while attempting to cross the road. He was treated for head and neck pain and transported to an area hospital.

Car trouble: At 11:17 a.m., firefighters were returning from a call when they stopped to assist a couple who was having vehicle troubles near the round-about. They pushed the vehicle out of traffic so the couple could safely wait for assistance.
