State Representatives Glenn Anderson and Jay Rodne will share their views on the legislative session in a 5th District telephone town hall meeting Wednesday, Feb. 16.

The lawmakers take questions at 7:05 p.m., and plan to offer constituents an opportunity to take part in poll questions.

To participate, residents may call, toll-free, to 1-877-229-8493 and enter the code 15549 when prompted. Once on the line, participants may select star 3 (*3) on their telephone keypads to ask a question. Or, they can simply listen in. There will also be an opportunity at the end of the call to leave a message for the state lawmakers to return.

“We hope this is a convenient way for those we represent to talk to and hear from us directly,” said Anderson, R-Fall City. “We encourage people to call in and participate at any level they feel comfortable.”

“This technology allows us to have a large community conversation without anyone having to leave their homes,” said Rodne, R-North Bend. “We look forward to hearing what folks have to say and sharing our views on the issue facing our communities.”

Those who are unable to join the call may contact Anderson and Rodne at their legislative offices. Anderson can be reached at (360) 786-7876 or glenn.anderson@leg.wa.gov. Rodne can be reached at (360) 786-7852 or jay.rodne@leg.wa.gov. People are also welcome to leave a message on the toll-free legislative hotline at 1-800-562-6000.
