Area fishing restrictions lifted

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife on Sept. 30 announced the immediate end of restrictions on all fishing on the Raging River, and Wallace River in Snohomish County.

Both rivers are no longer areas of concern for the department’s conservation efforts. Hatchery chinook egg take goals are close to being met at the Wallace River Hatchery.

Fishers must have a current Washington fishing license. Check department webpage at http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/regulations/ for details on fishing seasons and regulations.
