A safe nest

Potelco employees Hank Wade, Mike Black, Lonnie Harris and Keith Daurie, and city of Snoqualmie employee Don Harris, prepare a telephone pole that is intended to serve as a nesting site for osprey along the Snoqualmie River near Sandy Cove Park in Snoqualmie. The project, a joint undertaking by Puget Sound Energy and Snoqualmie, was initiated after it was realized that a tree harboring an osprey nest will have to be removed in the upcoming 205 Flood Reduction Project.
