Redmond is a unique place in Western Washington. Not only is it home to Microsoft, Nintendo of America and other creative, dynamic tech firms, it remains home to many smaller family-run businesses that provide great service to locals and visitors alike.

Now in the final stages of construction in the heart of the city, the Hilton Garden Inn Redmond Town Center, with its various amenities and services, will appeal to visitors and locals alike, says Crystal Pia, the hotel’s director of sales.

“This Hilton hotel will not only appeal to our Microsoft and Nintendo of America business travelers, but also to local Redmond residents, town center businesses and leisure travelers looking to enjoy all this vibrant community has to offer,” she says. The hotel will feature a Pacific Northwest feel with plenty of natural wood and large common spaces, she adds.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll find when the doors open:

  • Local food and beverages – Drawing on Northwest flavors in more ways than one, the full-service Fork and Spoke Restaurant and Bar will have a warm, inviting atmosphere with inlaid wood throughout, local craft beers and meals made with locally sourced ingredients.
  • Perfect for your gathering – With approximately triple the meeting space available over the typical Hilton Garden Inn – more than 9,000 square feet – you’ll have more options for hosting workshops, conferences and other special events.
  • Close proximity to the great outdoors – Guests looking to relax or be active will be close to many of the area’s most popular spots. It’s a short drive to Lake Sammamish and countless parks and trails, as well as Marymoor Park, home to various festivals and special events during the year.
  • Get on the bike! – Redmond is known affectionately as the “Bicycle Capital of the Northwest.” With dedicated bike lanes all around the hotel, it’ll be easy for locals to make Fork and Spoke a cycling destination, and for guests to get around on two wheels.
  • Meet and mingle outside – From a social perspective, the Hilton Garden Inn will feature a large terrace with more than 2,000 square feet of space to congregate, adjacent to the meeting rooms. “That area will no doubt be popular with people planning weddings,” Pia says.
