For many people, the American dream of home ownership feels like an impossibility.
Thoughts like, “I’ll never make enough money” or “everything is too expensive” create a mindset of defeat.
It’s why Alicia Messa and The Messa Group are determined to make a difference, providing her clients with the information they need to approach the future with confidence.
“I want to help our younger audience and anyone looking to change their financial future, build wealth and get over this mindset of living paycheck to paycheck,” says Alicia Messa, a Real Estate Broker serving Snoqualmie Valley and surrounding areas. “I’m a huge connector and I love being a resource for people.”
Messa’s commitment is deeply personal – she’s helped both of her children, among others, navigate the path to homeownership.
“My daughter bought a fixer-upper, tore it down and is now building a triplex in downtown North Bend. Building a triplex will give her the ability to collect rent and offset her monthly mortgage payment considerably,” Messa says.
“And by introducing my son to a financial advisor before he graduated from college, he learned the importance of allocating income to his 401K and IRA accounts, which helped him and his wife purchase a beautiful home in Woodinville before the age of 30.”
Inspiring possibility through education
Seeing limited affordable housing options, many people never entertain the possibility of buying their own home, however Messa believes most are often unaware of the options available to them.
In response, she’s committed to building a platform to help home buyers reframe their perspective and encourage them to create two-to three-year plans.
This year, The Messa Group is adding an all-new informational YouTube series and interactive webinars featuring guest speakers, including financial advisors, lenders and affordable housing project leaders.
These sessions will provide practical, concrete advice on things like building a strong credit foundation, creating a saving and debt strategy, loan programs, housing options, pitfalls to avoid – knowledge that helps empower a potential buyer.
Ultimately, Alicia Messa and The Messa Group are dedicated to proving that with the right advice, support and planning, building wealth and owning a home are possible.
