It’s officially peak blueberry and raspberry season, and the Snoqualmie Valley has many options for do-it-yourself berry picking.
Most of the farms are decades old, and several of them are multi-generation family owned. Harvold Berry Farm in Carnation is run by Stacey Smith and third-generation farmer Scott Harvold.
Smith said the Snoqualmie Valley, like any river valley, has a microclimate and soil that are typically great for growing berries. This year, due to the unusually warm and dry spring conditions, the strawberry crop wasn’t great, she said, but it’s too early to say how the rest of the year’s crops will be.
Upcoming crops to look out for include sweet corn, sunflowers, pumpkins and more.
Until then, here are six farms that will have u-pick raspberry or blueberry fields this season, from Duvall to North Bend.
Blueberry Glenn, Duvall
The blueberry plants of Blueberry Glenn were planted starting in the 1930s, and the farm specializes in heirloom varieties, introduced before 1950. The farm is sustainable, using wood chips, compost and organic fertilizers to maintain healthy soil, according to the website.
The farm’s 11 varieties of blueberries will be available for u-pick starting July 12. Hours for the season will be 2-7 p.m. on Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
The farm is also open Saturdays from 6-8 p.m. for date night hours, which require reservations. Date night tickets include entry for two people, 2 pounds of any u-pick blueberries, two snack boxes and all the necessary materials for a picnic.

Bybee Farms, North Bend
Started in the 1940s, Bybee is a multi-generational family blueberry farm tucked up against Mount Si. It hasn’t yet opened for the 2025 season but is expected to open in mid-July, according to the website.
Once the season begins, the farm will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Blueberries are $3.15 per pound for cash payments and $3.25 per pound for credit card payments. The farm provides buckets for picking and boxes/bags to take your harvest home. No dogs are allowed in the fields, but staff may be able to watch your pup while you pick.

Harvold Berry Farm, Carnation
Harvold has been a family farm since 1951. Today, its stewards grow strawberries and raspberries, as well as sweetcorn, cucumbers, green beans, squashes, pumpkins and sunflowers.
Peak strawberry season has come to a close, but raspberries are here until August. U-pick will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until picked out. No reservation is required, but guests should check in upon arrival. Pets are not allowed.
Due to issues with on-site consumption (which is not allowed), there is a 5-pound minimum for picking and purchasing raspberries. The farm provides containers for picking and taking home produce. Guests who bring their own containers must weigh them prior to picking.
