• Veterans Memorial Fundraising Concert is 3 to 6 p.m. at Snoqualmie United Methodist Church, at River Street and Railroad Avenue. Performers include Chuck Lawrence, opera singer Steve Thoreson, representatives from the Snoqualmie Tribe, and Bob Antone. There is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children at the door. Thursday, Nov. 27

• North Bend Calvary Chapel will serve a free Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, noon to 3 p.m., at 1556 Boalch Ave. N.W., North Bend. Call the chapel at (425) 888-3165. For those who need a ride, a bus will pick people up during the day. Stops include the Centennial Log in Snoqualmie at 1:45 and 2:45 p.m., North Bend Ace Hardware at 1:20 and 2:30 p.m., the Truck Town Chapel at 1 and 2:45 p.m., and the Fall City Tesoro station at 1 and 2:30 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 4

• Annual Snoqualmie Tree Lighting Ceremony is 6:30 p.m. in downtown Snoqualme. Santa will light the tree in the park’s gazebo and n welcome children to tell him their wishes. Families should come early. Participants can enjoy hot apple cider and cookies, take an old-fashioned carriage ride, and join in the revelry of the season. Saturday, Dec. 6.

• Fall City Days Tree Lighting Festival is 5:30 p.m. at Quigley Park. Families can bring their cameras to get a picture with Santa. A music program in the Fall City Elementary School Gym and the Fall City Arts Holiday Market at Chief Kanim Middle School happen the same day.

• Santa Claus will be at the Jeff Warren State Farm Offices, 7726 Center Blvd., Suite 125, on Snoqualmie Ridge, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families can stop in for a free photo.

• Breakfast with Santa, Country Store Holiday Bazaar and Sweet and Treats Bake Sale at the Mount Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave. S. in North Bend. The Santa Pancake Breakfast is 8 to 11 a.m. and costs $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Children can get their photo taken with Santa for $4. Collectibles and vintage items will be sold at the Country Store, and there will be sweets and treats at the bake sale, featuring handmade holiday crafts and gifts, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call (425) 888-3434.
