Duvall’s annual summer concert series opens tonight with Clinton Fearon and the Boogie Brown Band, 7 p.m. at McCormick Park.

Jamaican born and Seattle based Clinton Fearon is reggae royalty backed up by world class musicians. Each song is a message from the heart of a man who dedicates his life to help a better world to come. He played at this year’s Northwest Folklife Festival, has played at major Seattle venues for over 25 years, and tours extensively in Europe. Let those heat-frazzled nerves be calmed by the cool groove of reggae. Learn more at www.clintonfearon.com.

Food and drink will be available, with the Secret Sausage food truck and Old Rock Brewery scheduled to serve. Proceeds this week benefit Cascade Community Theatre, Rotary Club of Duvall and the Duvall Cultural Commision.  SummerStage is the City of Duvall Cultural Commission’s free summer concert series and Duvall’s premier music event. Donations are welcome and assistance is available for those with disabilities. Call 425-939-8069 to make arrangements for park access. Visit www.summerstage.net for more information.
