Carnation Farms plant sale, 10 a.m to 4 p.m.: The first weekend of the annual Carnation Farms plant sale. There will be a variety of vegetable, flower and herb starts to choose from. Online pre-orders for pickup are open and can be placed at carnation-farms.square.site/s/shop.
North Bend Friends of the Library book sale: This three day sale offers discounts on gently used books to raise money for the North Bend Library, 115 E. 4th St. The sale is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Preston plant sale and market, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Farm Among Us, located on Upper Preston Rd. SE, is hosting a plant sale and makers market. Selections will include hanging herbs, flower baskets, 4-inch annuals and vegetable starts, and there will be multiple local vendors to shop from. A portion of proceeds from each hanging basket will go to The Trail Youth Coffee Home.
May Day event and spring market, 10 a.m to 2 p.m.: Jubilee Farm in Carnation is hosting its May Day celebration and a spring makers market. There will be a traditional maypole dance, 15 artisan vendors, live music and refreshments. Located at 229 W. Snoqualmie River Rd. NE. Admission is free.
Carnation Farms spring market, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Carnation Farms is hosting its annual spring makers market and plant sale in its lower farm area. The event will include booths from over 20 artisan vendors, fresh pizza, farmer-led tours and more. All are welcome; pets are not allowed.
Duvall Storytelling Festival, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Storytelling Festival: Connecting to Place will be held at three different locations which different activities throughout the day. It begins with a storytelling workshop (sold out) and continues with an open mic session at The Grange, a puppet show and a featured storytellers session at the Duvall Foundation for the Arts lawn. Northwest Art Center market, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Northwest Art Center, a Duvall nonprofit, is hosting a two-day spring art market full of vendors selling handmade goods. Offerings include fine arts, jewelry, pottery, textiles and more. Located at 15705 Main St. NE, Suite F, on the building’s lower level.
Novelty Hill Farm market, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Novelty Hill Farm in Duvall is hosting a two-day spring art market. Shop for Mother’s Day gifts from vendors selling ceramics, garden art, skincare and more.

Duvall Civic Club plant sale, 10 a.m to 4 p.m.: Duvall Civic Club is hosting its 54th annual plant sale at Roney River Ranch. All proceeds will support Duvall events.

Mother’s Day steam train rides: During Mother’s Day weekend, moms ride the Northwest Railway Museum steam train for free with the purchase of a ticket for their child of any age. The round trip train ride begins at either the Snoqualmie or North Bend depot, depending on ticket purchased, and gives a scenic two-hour tour of the Snoqualmie Valley, with a stop at the Train Shed Exhibit Hall. Camlann May Faire and feast, 12-8 p.m.: Camlann Medieval Village in Carnation is kicking off its 2025 season by hosting its May Faire festival and feast dinners.
