Oxbow Farm restoration party, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Oxbow Farm and Conservation Center in Carnation hosts restoration work parties every second Saturday. Volunteers can help plant native species, remove invasive plants and promote resilient landscapes. March and April’s work parties will service the Fall City Floodplain Restoration Project, where Oxbow is planting native trees and shrubs to restore salmon habitat. Registration is required and can be done by filling out a volunteer application at oxbow.org.

Adventure Community Church groundbreaking, 12:30 p.m.: Duvall’s Adventure Community Church will be breaking ground on its new building after the original was lost to fire in 2020. The event will include prayer, a lunch and a look back at the history of the church, which was originally built in 1913. Location: 26632 NE Stella St.

Kids’ seed to plant workshop, 4:15-5:30 p.m.: The Carnation Library is hosting a plant workshop for kids ages 3-8, sponsored by Carnation Friends of the Library. The workshop will teach participants how a seed grows into a plant.
Black light painting party, 6-8 p.m.: Mount Si Pub in North Bend is hosting a black light painting party with artist Kate Cloud. Event is for those ages 21 and up. Snoqualmie Valley History 101, 6:30-8 p.m.: The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum is hosting a weekly history series through the end of the month. This week’s lesson is on changing transportation. Event is in the Northwest Railway Museum’s Railway Education Center.
March 12
Snoqualmie Valley Healing Center ribbon cutting, 4-6 p.m.: The SnoValley Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the opening of the Snoqualmie Valley Healing Center with a ribbon cutting at 39047 SE Park St., Snoqualmie. The center will provide behavioral health resources, recovery groups and spiritual health services with Chaplain Patti Yetneberk. The ribbon cutting will also celebrate the center’s partner, CarePoint Clinic, which just launched a mobile unit. All are welcome.

Wit and Wine improv night, 7-9 p.m.: Miller’s in Carnation hosts an improv night every second Thursday of the month. The event is presented by the Duvall Improv Social Club. Drinks are available to purchase, and food can be brought in. All ages welcome.
March 14
Cascade Enrichment ribbon cutting, 1:45-3:45 p.m.: Cascade Enrichment, a tutoring center, is having a ribbon cutting for its new location in Snoqualmie Ridge with the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce. The event will be Pi Day themed and include light refreshments, as well as activities. All are welcome.
