Snoqualmie Valley Health emergency clothing drive: The Snoqualmie Valley Health Foundation is asking for donations for its emergency clothing drive. Through the foundation’s Amazon wishlist, donors can purchase basic clothing items for patients who need them. The foundation’s goal is to ensure all patients go home with dignity in warm clothing, rather than a hospital gown. Find a link to the wishlist at snoqualmievalleyhealth.org.

Dry January quitters party: From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Pearl and Stone Wine Co. is having a party to celebrate the end of Dry January, a challenge to be sober for the month. The winery will have food specials and will release its 2021 Cabernet Franc. There will also be live music from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Dru Bru ski and snowboard competition: Dru Bru at Snoqualmie Pass is hosting its first ever Rail Jam freestyle ski and snowboard competition from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Dru Bru will bring snow and park features to the brewery’s parking lot for participants to show off their tricks. Warmups are at 3 p.m.; competition is at 5 p.m.; awards are at 7:30 p.m.; live music by the Passholes will be from 8-10 p.m. The event is free to watch, and food and drinks will be available to purchase. Participants must be age 18 or older. Registration is $35 and can be done at drubru.com/brewery-events/rail-jam.

Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis Has Heart: Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis is selling hearts for its annual Valentine’s Day fundraiser. For a donation to Kiwanis, locals can write a personalized message of up to 25 characters to be displayed on 18 inch by 18 inch hearts strung up throughout North Bend and Fall City. The hearts will be on display starting Feb. 1, but are available to purchase while supplies last. Visit snoqualmievalleykiwanis.weebly.com for more information and to purchase a heart.
Duvall Lantern Festival: Duvall’s annual Lantern Festival, hosted by the team behind March of the Vegetables, will start at 7 p.m. at the Duvall Park and Ride (16011 Main St. NE) and end at Depot Park, where there will be music and a bonfire. Participants are asked to bring their own lanterns to walk through town with. Those who need a lantern can attend free workshops at Depot Park from 2-5 p.m. All are welcome.
Feb. 2
Queer short film fest: Flicker, SnoValley Pride’s queer short film festival, will be held 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Miller’s in Carnation. This year’s films include “The Haunted Baby Carriage from Hell” and “Cowboy Boots.” There will also be a Q&A session with “Cowboy Boots” director Eric Delehoy and lead actor Michael Ridley. The event is free to attend, with an optional $5 or $10 donation to support SnoValley Pride. The films are rated for older teens and adults.
Fro-yo eating contest: The Swirl in North Bend will have its annual frozen yogurt eating contest at 5 p.m. to celebrate seven years at its North Bend location and four years at its Snoqualmie Ridge location. All are welcome.
Feb. 5
The Grange open mic night: The Grange in Duvall hosts open mic night 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Wednesday. Doors open at 5 p.m., and sign up starts at 5:30 p.m. Event is free and family friendly.
Feb. 6
Boutique clothing pop up: North Bend’s Bella Femme Boutique is having a pop up event 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sigillo Cellars in Snoqualmie. All are welcome to come enjoy some wine and shop Valentine’s Day-themed clothing.
