Stride with Pride hike: The Queer Mountaineers are leading a hike at Cougar Mountain totalling approximately 6 miles round trip with 1,100 feet of elevation gain.

SnoValley Innovation Fridays: The SnoValley Innovation Center has meetings every Friday for local innovators, entrepreneurs and community leaders to network. Queer Open Mic: The Black Dog Arts Cafe, 8062 Railroad Ave., Snoqualmie, is hosting an LGBTQ+ open mic night, this time featuring David Johnson, a musical artist who is currently recording his ninth studio album. All are welcome to attend; all LGBTQ+ individuals are welcome to perform. Each performer will get up to 10-15 minutes of stage time. Food and drinks will be available to purchase. Event is from 7:30-10:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) and is free to attend.

Jan. 18

Sunset Garage art hop: The Mount Si Wellness Collective in North Bend is hosting an art hop in the historic Sunset Garage building. The evening includes local art on display, live music by Tinkham Road and community connection. Event is for ages 21 and up and is from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at mountsiphysicaltherapy.com.

Jan. 23-26

“Rainier: A Beer Odyssey”: The North Bend Theatre is showing “Rainier: A Beer Odyssey,” a 2024 documentary about the iconic Rainier beer commercials from the 1970s and 1980s, produced by a boutique Seattle ad agency. Attendees can enjoy an ice cold Rainier beer while they watch. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for youth ages 3-11 and $9 for military and seniors. Purchase at northbendtheatre.com.

Jan. 24

REI snowshoe guide: Professional REI Coop guides are taking guests on a scenic snowshoe tour of Snoqualmie Pass, ending in drinks with the group at Dru Bru’s taproom on the pass. The event starts at 12 p.m. at REI’s Snoqualmie Pass Snowshoe Rental Outpost, where guests will be outfitted with all the gear they need. Tickets start at $139 and can be purchased at rei.com/events.

Stride with Pride hike: The Queer Mountaineers are leading a hike at Cougar Mountain totalling approximately 6 miles round trip with 1,100 feet of elevation gain. Registration is free (but donations are requested) and can be done on Eventbrite. All attendees must sign and bring a waiver, which can be found on the event page, along with a list of necessary gear for the outing. The group will meet at the trailhead at 10 a.m.
