Friends of the North Bend Library Book Sale: The Friends of the North Bend Library Book Sale will span Feb. 5-7, plus a new book sale preview at 5 p.m. Feb. 4. The 2-hour preview requires entry bracelets which cost $20 for two. The sale includes hardcover and paperback books, children’s books, homeschool materials, CDs, DVDs and audio books. It is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the North Bend Library. Cash, local checks with identification and Venmo are preferred payments.

First Fridays at Saints & Scholars, 7-10 p.m.: Visit Saints and Scholars Irish Pub in Snoqualmie Ridge each first Friday of the month for live music from Seattle-based Irish band The Morrigans.
Feb. 7
Ice cream breakfast, 8 a.m.: Join Friends and Co. Ice Cream in North Bend for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. The shop will have special breakfast-inspired flavors to celebrate: Maple Walnut Waffle Delight — maple walnut ice cream on a waffle, topped with whipped cream, bacon bits and maple syrup — and Cinna-Churro Donut Sundae — churro ice cream on a glazed donut, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon toast crunch cereal topping.
Queen Bee Esthetics Galentine’s event, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Queen Bee Esthetics in Duvall is hosting a Galentine’s Day celebration. Bring your friends for an afternoon of treats, wine, mini facials, chair massages, raffle prizes from local businesses and more. Message 425-381-7663 for more details.
Beginner silversmith class, 12-3 p.m.: Make your own sterling silver rings with Sylph Designs at Misty Valley Farm (formerly Lavender at Stillwater) in Carnation. Learn to manipulate silver wire and shape, solder and professionally polish your six stackable rings. All supplies are included in the price of the class. Fall City Strums ukulele group, 4-5:30 p.m.: Free ukulele sessions for all skill levels at the Fall City Library. Learn to play in a no-pressure setting, and work toward a community performance on June 13. Instruments are available to borrow. Ages 10 and up.
Duvall Lantern Festival and Walk, 7 p.m.: The annual Lantern Festival is from the creators of March of the Vegetables. Attendees should meet at the Duvall Park and Ride at 7 p.m. with their lanterns. Community members will walk together to Depot Park, where there will be hot chocolate and live music. From 2-5 p.m. the same day, there will be free opportunities to make a lantern: at the Duvall Visitor Center’s Rose Room and in the depot at Depot Park.

Flood debris disposal: Residents can drop off flood debris to King County Solid Waste at Taylor’s Landing Park in Duvall. Site is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Free disposal is only for self-haul customers. Third-party haulers are excluded from the free disposal policy and must pay standard fees. For questions, contact Solid Waste Division Customer Service at solidwaste@kingcounty.gov or 206-477-4466.
Feb. 10
King County special election: The February 2026 special election includes levy renewals for the Snoqualmie Valley School District, as well as levies and a bond for the Riverview School District. If returned by mail, ballots must be postmarked by election day. If returned to a ballot box, ballots must be dropped in the box by 8 p.m. on election day.
Feb. 11
Tarot club, 6-7 p.m.: Bring your own deck and practice reading tarot in a welcoming environment at Mystic Shoppe in Duvall. Event is held the third Wednesday of each month.
Feb. 12
Wine and Gyn, 6-8 p.m.: Join Mount Si Physical Therapy at Main Street Pilates in North Bend for an evening of wine and women’s health discussion. A panel of three experts will discuss sex, incontinence, hygiene, hormones, relational intimacy, pregnancy, menopause and more. All female-identifying people age 21 or over are welcome.
